(a) Mixer: Corn flour, rice flour, soybean meal, fish meal, meat meal, grain meal, additives, and other raw materials are mixed with water in a specific proportion and thoroughly stirred.
(b) Feeder: A motor-driven screw conveyor delivers the mixed raw materials to the feed hopper of the twin-screw extruder. This equipment is convenient and fast, saves labor, and is highly efficient.
(c) Twin-screw Feed Extruder: The mixed raw materials undergo high temperature and high pressure, and the twin screws extrusion transforms the starch structure of the raw materials into easily absorbed nutrients. The mixed raw materials are then extruded through the feed die. The speed of the rotating motor is adjusted until the feed pellets are uniform in size and length. The specific pellet size and shape are achieved by replacing the die. The feed extruder uses advanced variable frequency speed regulation technology, which is more energy-efficient and provides better speed control. The inverter panel provides a visual display of the motor's operating current and speed, ensuring stable operation.
(d) Conveyor: The produced feed pellets are transported to the multi-layer drying equipment. (e) Multi-layer drying ovens: Drying ovens are available in electric, fuel, gas, and steam drying ovens. The temperature is automatically adjusted by a control cabinet. Transport within the drying ovens is stable and has a low failure rate. Feed pellets circulate on multi-layer S-shaped tracks, drying them to a desired moisture content and extending their shelf life.
(f) Oil spraying and seasoning line: Oil sprayers apply oil, lubricants, and other ingredients. Seasoning drums, including octagonal drums, round drums, single-drum lifts, and double-drum seasoning lines, are configured according to production volume and product characteristics. These drums are used to spray oil onto the feed surface. Minced meat and spices are sprayed simultaneously and evenly distributed. This process also removes burrs and rough edges from the feed pellets, resulting in a smoother surface.
(h) Cooling conveyor: This cools the surface temperature of the dried feed pellets, promoting oil solidification and lowering pellet temperature for easier packaging.
(i) Vibrating screen: This screens out excess foreign matter and pellet residue to ensure quality.
